Welcome to Walnut Place Retreat located in Historic Valley Junction, West Des Moines, Iowa.

We have renovated a historic home (built in 1930) into a beautiful retreat center with plenty of tables and room space to comfortably accommodate up to 12 people at a time. 

You are welcome to take advantage of our catered packages or bring your own food to prepare in our newly remodeled, full service kitchen. 

Conveniently located in Valley Junction, you are only a few blocks away from the Midwest’s largest store for scrapbooking and stamping supplies “Heirlooms By Design & Outstamping Designs”. 

We offer on-site wireless Internet and an HP 12x12 color printer for your use.

Technique classes for scrapbooking, quilting, beading and knitting as well as an on-site massage therapist are also available at an additional fee.
